Adam Fauson gets Master Tech Certified by John Deere University

            Burlington, CO -- With the development of new technology and high-performance systems for John Deere equipment, it is critically important that customers receive exceptional service from highly-trained product experts, technicians, and aftermarket support personnel.

MV Equipment participates in a comprehensive training program with John Deere to help their employees reach certain standards of expertise.

            Recently, Adam Fauson achieved Master level recognition for the position of Service Technician program. This level of achievement was accomplished by completing extensive training in the John Deere University program. Adam received a special plaque of recognition to honor their accomplishment.

            John Deere University credits are earned in various categories to ensure expertise in the sales, service, or parts departments of John Deere dealerships. The structure for this recognition is similar to achieving credit hours in a university. This ongoing training program is just one of the tools used by MV Equipment to improve overall support and service to customers in their trade area.

          

Northrup Graduates JD Tech School

 Brandt Northrup, a service technician intern at MV Equipment in Wray, has recently graduated from the John Deere Ag Tech Program at Southeast Communtiy College in Milford, NE.

Brandt, a 2009 graduate of Haxtun High School, received an Associates of Applied Science Degree and will begin his career in the industry with many core certifications already complete, including hyrdaulics, electronics and service advisor. Pictured is MV Equipment Vice President of Parts and Service, Allen Troester, presenting Northrup with the MV Tech Scholarship, which Brandt will use to repay his college tuition over the next 5 years.  

Be sure to congratulate Brandt on his recent accomplishment when you see him in Wray!

Recently, a group of high school students from the Ft. Morgan/ Brush area participated in a tour and question and answer session at the Sterling MV Equipment. The group of teens, sponsored by Tony Anderson of the Eastern Colorado Workforce Center and Dan Marlin of Morgan County Community College, were given the opportunity to speak with part of MV's management team. Jessie Ruiz, Human Resources Director for MV gave a presentation to the students about what to include in a resume, what skills employers look for, and how to act during an interview. Sandy Browner, Accounting Manager at MV spoke with the students about the importance of math skills in every profession, from counting change at a restaurant to  being able to manage finances for a large company like MV. Parts and Service Vice President, Allen Troester explained the current technology used in tractors, combines and planting implements.
